Off to School We Go!

This week is my first week back at school and Aiden has graced us with his presence each day so far.  Here are some pictures of him in my classroom.  He hangs out with me during my off periods and in the office with students/parents/other teachers when I'm in class.

Here is a video I took when he was smiling, but when I had the camera on, he started fussing and acting like he was scared of it.. or me.. can't quite tell =). 

Snow!!

So this morning Aiden got to see snow for the first time (pretty early in his short life).  Here's a picture, he seemed to be enjoying the bright light.

And I'm pretty sure the Echo has never seen snow either:

Aiden's Second Month

Aiden made up for lost time during his second month.  At his two month appointment he weighed 11 lb 7 oz and was 24.5" long! That's 50th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for length.  He started smiling this month, cooing, and watching things. He also mastered the bumbo!

Aiden's First Month

Aiden was around the 10th percentile in weight and length most of his first month.  He was pretty small! That didn't last long though! He grew about an inch and gained about a pound from his birth weight. He didn't really do anything but cry, sleep, eat and poop. Therefore, pictures aren't that exciting yet!

Aiden's Birth

Aiden was due on December 18th.  When I was about 35 weeks pregnant, he started working on his entrance into the world.  At 37 1/2 weeks, he was born at 11:40 in the morning on December 1 at 7 lb 5 oz and 19 3/4 inches long.

Our Story

After about 4 years of being married and 8 years of being together, I got pregnant.....

The Reason

Andrew thought a blog would be a great idea to share pictures/news about Aiden so that my 500 friends on Facebook don't have to see every post about Aiden's first sneeze, smile, bowel movement, etc.  So, we've started this blog to share the wonderful blessing of our son!
