Time to Say Goodbye

Today we said goodbye to Grandpa.  It is interesting how God works, he passed away on my birthday and was buried on Sally's.  The circle of life.  I had the privilege to know, love and be loved by an amazing grandpa that also loved his great-grandson.  We miss you already.

On a happier note!  Our family got to spend the last three days "bonding."  We hung out, went swimming, cooked meals, and reminisced on fun memories.  After a long exhausting weekend, Aiden slept in his carseat with Aunt Amy and Aunt Katy by his side!

Earlier in the week, he had fun with his feet rattles from Nana.

And Aiden in his swing at Nono and Nona's house.  He loved it! He also ate bananas for the first time.  It's a whole new world for him with the addition of baby food =).  Watch out!

The new hobbies I will now enjoy due to a wonderful 27th birthday in spite of the circumstances: food processing, embroidery, and of course shooting bad guys that come into my house with my new piece =).  According to Aunt Jean, if somebody comes into my house, they will do something terrible like remove my digits one by one, good thing I'm prepared, I feel much better now!

Today was also baby dedication at church.

He sat in the highchair at lunch successfully for the first time! Whoohoo!

And loves ketchup. Yum. He also ate rice cereal for the first time this evening.  Most of it ended up on him but he still did it =)

Time Flies!

Aiden is 5 months today! Major achievements this month include sleeping on his stomach all the time and sleeping through the night FINALLY =).  He also laughs at Andrew, Judge Judy and Maggie and plays with his feet.
