Time to Catch Up!

I haven't posted in awhile so I have several pictures to share this time!

Aiden and I went to the Rodeo carnival and the petting zoo, he wasn't scared at all, but he did call every animal a "dog."

Here is Aiden with Rachel's tree that my mom and Keith planted for her at their house.

While Andrew landscaped our backyard, I taught Aiden the wonders of the water faucet!

Over Spring Break, Aiden and I went to visit Kelsey, Jason, Jack and Sarah! Here are the kids at the Rodeo carnival in Houston!

Happy New Year! A month late =)

Well.. it's been awhile...

Back in December we went on a cruise with our wonderful friends and had a great time!

Aiden is growing up! He loves to read books!

And he watches his cartoons from his own rocking chair

He started walking on New Years Day, and is much happier now that he can explore more efficiently =)

Rachel went home to heaven sometime before January 24th, when she was delivered.  Keith added a special angel to our sign for her!

Thanks Aunt Susan for the ornament that will always remind us that Rachel is in a far better place and is not suffering =), can't wait to meet her someday!

We have been so uplifted by the support of our wonderful family, friends, church, the MOMS club!!, etc. We love you soooo much!!

Celebrations

CELEBRATION #1

Aiden's 1st birthday is today!!! Yay!! I thought we would never get there, but he made it! ;)  Here are some updates!

Here's Aiden eating at Great-Grandma's house awhile ago, he loves food, he downed a whole Subway sandwich!

Nono and Nona got him a playset for his birthday! He helped Nono, Uncle Al and his daddy put it together, he was super helpful.

Aunt Sally reading to him, he sat still for the first time ever in his entire 1 year of life!

Thanks to Nono, Nona, Grandpa and Nana, Aiden had his 1st birthday cake! I think he liked the chili more though =)

CELEBRATION #2

Introducing our daughter Rachel (this was about a month ago)

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb -Psalm 139:13

Rachel has a severe case of cystic hygroma and probably won't be with us much longer before God receives her into heaven.  Though we will miss out tremendously, she gets to spend eternity in heaven and will be spared suffering and we couldn't ask for more for her.  The pain for us pales in comparison to the glory she is about to experience. This is by far the hardest trial our little family has had to face, but God carries us everyday that we get to spend with her. We would not change it because we have faith in God's plan even though He chooses not to share it with us sometimes!  SO, that is reason to celebrate!
